Create custom email templates and designs for MailerLite using Tabular

Overview

This integration allows you to seamlessly use your Tabular emails in MailerLite. It automatically adds a campaign to your MailerLite account that uses your Tabular email design.

How it works

MailerLite is a platform for sending your email marketing campaigns. Use MailerLite together with Tabular to amp-up your email production. Tabular makes it easy to design emails people want to read, and allows you to rapidly iterate on your designs to find the ones that perform. Perform a one-click upload to connect and send the designs you make in Tabular with MailerLite.

How to export an email template to MailerLite?

In MailerLite

1. Navigate to Integrations > API. On this page you will have to click on Generate new token.
2. In the modal that opens, enter a name for the new token.
3. Choose All IPs allowed
4. Click on Create token
5. Copy the token that is generated to your clipboard or temporarily store it somewhere. We will use this generated token in our next steps.

In Tabular

1. Open the Tabular email you want to upload to MailerLite
2. Open the Checklist by clicking on the check icon in the upper-right corner of the email builder
3. Open the Set campaign settings tab, and configure the From name and From email that you want to use for your MailerLite campaign with this email
4. Close the Checklist and click on Use email in the upper-right corner of the email builder
5. From the modal that appears, click on the Integrations tab
6. Select MailerLite from the available integrations options
7. Give a name to your connection
8. Paste the MailerLite API token that you just copied to your clipboard from MailerLite into the corresponding input field
9. Click Add authorization
10. You now see your MailerLite authorization has been added to your list of authorized integrations
11. Click on the Connect to button and select campaigns from the dropdown
12. Tabular will now attempt to create a draft email campaign in your MailerLite account that uses the Tabular email template
13. If the campaign record was created successfully, you will se that an item has been added to the Your email is currently connected to list
14. From this list you can click on Upload email to upload any new versions of your email to the MailerLite draft campaign. This will overwrite the email template in the connected MailerLite campaign. You can also click again on Connect to > campaigns, to create a new draft campaign.
