What is an email subject line?

An email subject line is the bit of text that is shown in the inbox to provide the subject of the email.

Why should I enter an email subject line in Tabular?

The subject line entered in Tabular is only used while we upload templates to your email service provider via our integrations. It is used when an email service provider (ESP) requires a subject line value during upload of the template to your ESP account.

How to add a subject line

1. In your Tabular email, click on the Checklist button. You can find the Checklist button in the upper right corner of your Tabular email, illustrated by the checkmark icon.
2. Inside the Checklist modal, you will find various email settings that you can configure. Click on the Write a subject line tab to open up the subject line setting.
3. Enter the subject line in the Subject line field. We advise to use no more than 90 characters for the subject line.
