Save default link style

We've added the option to easily save default link styles or reusable link styles for links within text blocks. When you open the link menu where you can alter the URL you can now click on the 'Style link' option. This will open up a styling menu specifically for that link where you can override its styling. Next to that you can choose to save the style as the default style for all links within your email. You can also save the style as a custom document style and reuse it somewhere else in your email.

Auto width, fixed width and max. width

We've added auto width and fixed width options to the image block, button block, and text blocks.

Auto width

When you set a block to have auto width, the width of the block will be determined by its contents. For example, when you set a button block to auto width, the button will automatically scale in width while you type more text into the button.

Fixed width

When you set a block to have fixed width, the width of the block will fixed to the pixel value that you give it. For example, if you have a two columns — an image block next to a text block — and you want to force the image block to keep a fixed width, while the text block will become smaller when the email is resized to fit a smaller screen size.

Max width

If you set this option, the pixel value will be the maximum width of the block. This means that the block will always try to fill up available space to a maximum width, and resize itself to a smaller width if the available space is less than the maximum width.

Added 'justify' to text alignment options

You can now justify text as part of the text alignment options. When you "justify" text in an email, you give your text straight edges on both sides of the paragraph. Justifying spaces out each line of your text within a paragraph or heading block from the left edge to the right edge within the block, except for the last line.

Default and custom document styles

You can now save default styling settings for all blocks and add custom styles that you can re-use throughout your email. Use the 'Apply to all blocks with this style' switch to instantly update all blocks that use the same style.

Insert linebreaks, use the Delete key, delete words and lines

We've added support for more common text editing keyboard shortcuts to Tabular's text editors.

Text editing has just become more intuitive. Use your common keyboard commands for inserting linebreaks, deleting next characters, deleting previous word, and deleting the whole line.

Re-use document colors

Quickly re-use colors that you've previously used in your email.

The color picker now shows all colors that are present in your email. Click on any of them to use.

Price updates

We introduce three new subscription plans. If you are currently subscribed to our old Tabular Pro plan, your subscription will remain unchanged.

New and improved plans

• We introduce Lifetime Plus for when you want to just create a small set of email templates, and only occasionally need to edit them. Lifetime Plus includes 1 organization member, unlimited organization guests, 30 stored emails, and 30 exports per month.
• New Pro plan now includes 3 organization members, unlimited emails, exports, teamspaces, organization guests, and a 250 GB CDN quota.
• We introduce an Organization plan specifically created with marketing agencies and large organizations in mind. Next to what Pro offers, the organization plan includes 5 organization members, and the ability to create secret teamspaces. For example if you have 3 clients, secret teamspaces are useful for if you don't want your client A to be able to view teamspaces you created for client B and C.

Increased CDN quotas

We have significantly increased the CDN quotas on all plans, including our free plan:

• Free plan: was 2 GB, becomes 20 GB
• Old Pro plan: was 20 GB becomes 250 GB

Create unlimited teamspaces within one organization

You can now create unlimited teamspaces within one organization to better organize your work. For example, create separate teamspaces for each client, campaign or project you're creating emails for.

Per teamspace you can manage which of your organization members or guests have access to view or edit emails. In addition, you can set Teamspaces to be closed or open to be joined by other Organization members. Next to that, if you're on the Organization plan, you can set Teamspaces to be secret. Secret teamspaces are hidden from other organization members by default and only visible for organization members that are already member of that teamspace.

You can now invite others to join your organization as an Admin, Member, or Guest. In order to showcase your emails to colleagues or clients you can add unlimited organization Guests for free. The number of organization Admins or Members you can add depends on your subscription plan.

Organization roles

• Organization Admins: can manage Organization Settings, billing information, create new teamspaces, invite new organization members, and can be added as Teamspace Admins, Editors, and Viewers.
• Organization Members: can create new teamspaces, and can be added as Teamspace Admins, Editors, and Viewers.
• Organization Guests: can only be added to Teamspaces as Viewers.

We automatically added an Organization to each of your Teams in Tabular. Your Team members also became members or guests in your Organization.

Teamspace roles

Previously, you were able to invite others to join your team via an email invite. Now, in order to add members to your teamspace, they have to first become members of your Organization. You can add people from your organization as admin, member, or guest to your teamspaces. Organization Guests can only be added as Teamspace Viewers.

Adding icons and changing icon colors

You can now select icons directly from a library of 2500+ icons (FontAwesome, Feather icons, and Heroicons) and change the icon colors using our color picker.

This makes it super easy to add for example social media icons and change them to your preferred color.

Introducing the icon libraries

• FontAwesome: FontAwesome offers 2000+ free and open source icons varying for any category you can imagine, from Automotive to the most popular Brand Logos. Majority of the icons are solid, while they also offer 160+ outline icons.
• Feather icons: Feather icons is a collection of 280+ free and open source stylish outline icons.
• Heroicons: Heroicons is a collection of 280+ free and open source icons, created by the makers of Tailwind CSS. They offer a solid and outline version of each icon.

Official integration for Postmark

Tabular has just been added to Postmark's integrations page as an official integration.

This integration allows you to easily design, update, and manage your transactional (web)app and bulk/broadcast emails with Tabular and send them with Postmark. One-click upload your Tabular emails as templates to Postmark. After that you’ll be able to use the templates in the Postmark API.
